Breakout #1: STICS, CIPs, & Perkins Reporting: Is it a POS?
Thursday June 19, 2025 9:45am - 10:25am CDT
From STICS and CIP codes to Perkins performance indicators, FCS teachers have to navigate a dense alphabet soup of accountability and reporting tools. But how do these acronyms actually connect to what makes a high-quality Program of Study (POS)? In this breakout session, we’ll demystify the jargon and dive into the systems that drive funding, compliance, and continuous improvement in CTE. You will explore how not just to satisfy compliance requirements, but to advocate for resources, equity, and student success. Whether you’re new to Perkins reporting or a seasoned CTE professional, this session will help you decode the systems and make them work for your FCS program, not against it.
